about

Software engineer who thrives on complex technical challenges, from optimizing BigQuery pipelines processing TB-scale data to building fault-tolerant backup systems with custom RAID configurations. Three years at fintech startup Capchase taught me to work under pressure – like when I diagnosed and fixed critical pipeline bottlenecks during the SVB crisis, improving data intake speeds for surging customer demand.

My approach combines practical engineering with continuous learning. I run a production homelab where I experiment with everything from email server configurations to AI model training, maintaining 99.9% uptime for services I’ve built over the past 5 years. This includes a privacy-focused YouTube frontend serving thousands of videos, automated monitoring with Prometheus/Grafana, and security-hardened infrastructure.

Equally comfortable debugging Elixir performance issues with profilers, implementing Vue.js frontends, or configuring bare-metal servers with 72TB storage arrays. I believe in writing maintainable code, comprehensive documentation (when it matters), and building systems that scale. Whether it’s reducing deployment times, implementing new data sources, or creating monitoring dashboards, I focus on delivering measurable improvements.

Check out my page about my previous experience working at a Fintech Startup.

It was my first real job and it was a great learning experience. I feel it really helped me hone skills and learn how to work.

Give it a read and let me know what you think.
